Question: What happens if my abstract is not accepted? Will the registration fees be refunded?

Answer: Yes. If the scientific committee recommends rejection of an abstract, the author will be contacted and the registration fee will be transfered back (minus a cancellation fee of approximately 10 Euros, depending on your correspondent bank).

Question: Can I withdraw an accepted abstract and get the conference fee refunded?

Answer: Refunds will be granted (minus bank charges) up to June 1, 2009. After June 1, any further requests for refund of registration fees submitted (with sufficient justification) will be honored on an individual basis only.

Question: In the 1st call for abstracts it was announced that the deadline for abstract submissions as well as for early booking prices was March 30th 2009, whereas on this website April 15th 2009 is given as a deadline. Which version is correct?

Answer: The actual deadline for abstract submissions and early booking prices is April 15th 2009.

Question: Where can I log out?

Answer: If your are logged in, click the "Registration / Login" entry in the navigation bar on the left. You will find a logout-button on the top of that page.

Question: When and where can I get the receipt for the registration fees?

Answer: A personal receipt will be enclosed within the conference bag that is hand out at the ECVP reception desk. It will detail the name of the participant and the ammount paid for ECVP.

Question: Will there be day passes?

Answer: On-site registration (with cash or credit-card payment) will be
available at the conference. Individual day passes will be available for
delegates, who are unable to attend the entire meeting. Please inquire
at the reception desk for more information.

Question: I did not book the conference banquet during the registration, but I would like to participate. Are there still tickets avaialble?

Answer: Tickets for the conference banquet on Thursday August 27 are still available. The price is 59 Euro, including buffet dinner, drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks) and live music in a beautiful location. For bookings, please send a mail to info@ecvp2009.org. Prepaid tickets will be included in your conference bag. On-site purchases can be made
at the reception desk.
