Student travel fellowship

Students can apply for a student travel fellowship when registering on this website. Just check the box at the bottom of the registration page. Student travel fellowships will be granted competitively depending on the quality of the conference contribution. The fellowships will be awarded at the ECVP. Proof of student status is required. Two types of travel grants will be offered:

OSA Travel Grant: This travel grant is awarded by the Optical Society of America (OSA). The applicant has to be member of the OSA. Non-OSA members can join the OSA at a student rate of US $ 30. The award will be US $ 500.

ECVP Travel Grant: The amount of this award will depend on the number of eligible applicants and available budget ressources and, therefore, unfortunately is not yet certain.

Update 2009-06-03: Students awarded a travel grant will be notified in a separate e-mail before June 21st.

Registration as student

ECVP 2009 offers special registration fees for students. Early booking fee is 175,- EUR, late booking (after April 15th) is 200,- EUR. In order to register as a student, we need an actual confirmation of enrollment along with the online registration. Please send a copy of the confirmation to registration@ecvp2009.org.
