The Youth Hostel in Regensburg offers a capacity of 186 beds in 44 rooms. It is located on the Danube island „Unterer Wöhrd“, in about 15 minutes walking distance to the city center. Also the City Bus line 8 has a stop directly in front of the hostel (bus stop: "Unterer Wöhrd/Jugendherberge").
Prices per person and night start at 20.40 €. Online booking is possible, using this link. At your reservation please add the note that you are attendees of our conference, hosted by the University of Regensburg. In this case you don't need to have an own international youth hostel membership card, your stay can be listed under the membership of the University of Regensburg.
Please book your rooms there as early as possible, because the hostel informed us that they expect to be very full due to a large youth tennis tournament, scheduled exactly for the week of our conference.

Another hotel/hostel that offers shared rooms (3-5 bed rooms) is the Abotel. (On their webpage please scroll down for the English information.) It is located at Donaustaufer Street, north of the Danube. Several lines of the City Bus (including 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) stop there (bus stop: "Donaustaufer Straße").
Prices start at 17.50 € per person and night, according to their website. Online booking should be possible using their email form or contacting them directly.
